3 .- Should I answer the online evaluation and take the course Jazfest online?
Yes, all participants must answer the evaluation, you will get automatically the answers and depending on your level, you should take or not the Jazzfest on Line course, which is included in your registration.

4 .- What material should I prepare for the audition?
The audition take about 10 minutes, you must play by memory Jazz  standard with one chorus of improvisation and a technical solo study that allows us to know the level on your instrument.

5 .- What should I prepare for the theory placement test?
All the topics that are include in the on line evaluation.

6 .- When and where should I register myself?
On August 5, 2008 at 9:00 pm in the School of Music at the University of Veracruz, located at: Barragan 32, downtown, Xalapa, Ver. Mexico.

7 .- Where's Xalapa?
Xalapa is the state capital of Veracruz. It is located four hours away from Mexico City and one hour from the city of Veracruz.

8 .- How do I get to Xalapa?
If you come from any country you get first to Mexico city from there are an extensive network of buses that go to Xalapa <www.ticketbus.com.mx>, by air, you can fly to the city of Veracruz, from the airport have direct bus service to the city of Xalapa, by car there are several highways that are coming direct to Xalapa.

 9 .- Where can I get information on hotels?
This year's seminar takes place again at its original venue, which everyone decides the best choice of accommodation, Xalapa, as a city 100% student, and has many very cheap deals in all kinds of food and lodging, rite us to send you some tips on accommodations that fit your budget.

10 .- Will instrument private taught?
Not all our classes are collective.

11 .- Should I bring my instrument?
We encourage all bassists, guitarists, drummers, pianists and percussionists to bring your personal instrument to study and / or rehearsing; vocalists should bring their micro.

12 .- Do you have a place to store my instrument?
Yes, but each student is responsible for their own instrument during the seminar.

13 .- Do you have instruments for personal study?
Unfortunately we do not have instruments or equipment for practicing or rehearsals, each person must decide whether or not traveling with his instrument or amplifier.

14 .- Where is the seminar taking place?
All activities are at the School of Music of the University of Veracruz.
15 .- Last year I got a scholarship, what is my scholarship covering?
Your scholarship covers only the registration tuitions fee for the seminar.

16 .- As a scholarship recipient, what should I do to ensure my place and confirm my assistance?
Fill out the registration sheet and the window <Methods, courses, etc.> write: FELLOW 07, you must also answer the evaluation online.

17 .- Do I get accreditation for attending the seminar?
Yes by backed by the Continuing Education Department of the University of Veracruz.

18 .- Is it necessary to have studied music to attend the seminar?
Not, It requires only experience as a performer.

19 .- Does it changes the tuitions fee depending on when I register?
Dead lines are only for mexican students :
* $ 2600.00 until May 31
* $ 2900.00 from June 1 to July 15.
* $ 3600.00 from 15 July to 3 August.
   $ 450.00 USD for foreign students until July 30.

20 .- Do I have to pay all the tuitions fee at ones?
No but you have to finished your payment by the deadline; otherwise, the amount rises automatically to the next fare deadline.
